TUCSON, Ariz. - Cal swept the road games over Arizona State and Arizona for the first time since the 1992-93 season with today's 66-45 win over the Wildcats. The Bears beat the Sun Devils, 64-51, Jan. 17.
Alexis Gray-Lawson hit a career-high five three-pointers against Arizona. Her previous career best was four and her season high was three. Gray-Lawson now has 37 treys this year and 85 for her career to rank ninth in Cal history.
Lauren Greif dished off a career-high seven assists with only two turnovers against Arizona.
Cal's 10 three-pointers today matched its season high initially set against Washington State Dec. 30, 2007.
At 17-2, Cal has equaled the 1983-84 Bears for the best start in school history through 19 games. In 1983-84, Cal lost its 20th game.
Today's game marked the homecoming of freshman guard Rachelle Federico, who hails from Tucson and attended Flowing Wells High School.
