Recap |  Final Stats

"When you get a win, you're like 'OK!', but I went in there and talked to the team and I said that I hope you aren't happy with this. I hope you aren't satisfied. These are games where when you come out strong, you have to finish strong. It's not going to be every minute, but we scored 11 points in 12 minutes. We got a lead and then we settled. I don't think a winning team and a championship team is made up of people who are going to settle. We're not going to grow. And when we get put into situations when it is tougher, we are not going to know how to respond if we don't start responding against teams that we are capable of doing more on our part. So I am disappointed that we just settled."

On shooting better in this game than against New Mexico

"A lot of what we got was in transition. Easier looks at the basket, I would say. We still need to get some more production from some people. It comes back to being able to execute when you don't have easy baskets. I think we are struggling with what we want to do, what we are looking for, and complacency. That's for us to work on and get better. But I am happy with the point production."

On the play of Talia Caldwell

"I think she gave a lot of effort on the boards. She had a career high. She really worked. What we need to get her to do is settle down. The turnovers. That's what is hurting us right now. Our posts put the ball on the ground and people double team us because we turn the ball over. We have to learn to make those adjustments because we are not doing a good job with that. We only had a two post rotation going tonight, so that was tough, but they need to play through some of that. She did a really good job on the boards tonight and I am happy for her that she got to score."
