PULLMAN, Wash. - Cal tied the 1983-84 Bears (24-8) for the most wins in program history. This year's Cal team is 24-4 and has the chance to win its first Pac-10 title in school history with a victory over Washington on Sunday This year's Cal team is 15-2 in Pac-10 play, which is three more wins than the next-best seasons in school history, In 1991-92 and 2006-07, Cal set the previous school record of 12 Pac-10 wins, finishing at 12-6.
Alexis Gray-Lawson was 3-of-6 from three-point range tonight. Gray-Lawson now has 97 career three-pointers, moving her from ninth to start the day to seventh in Cal history. She looks to become the seventh player in school history to sink at least 100 treys. Patrycja Czepiec is sixth with 104. The school record of 159 was set by Jennifer Self from 1989-92.
Devanei Hampton led Cal with 16 points today in only 23 minutes on the court. Hampton moved up one spot from 10th to ninth in scoring in school history with 1226 points.
Cal is 20-1 when holding opponents to fewer than 60 points and is 12-0 when holding opponents to fewer than 50 points in 2007-08.
