STOCKTON - With tonight's 79-54 California victory over Pacific, head coach Mike Montgomery earned his 575th career coaching victory.

Patrick Christopher notched his second straight double-double (22 points, 10 rebounds). He opened the night going 5-for-5 from the field. He moved past David Butler into 15th on Cal's all-time scoring list with 1,294 points. His 20-point outing was also the 23rd of his career. He made one three-pointer, placing him 10th in school history for career three-pointers made.

The Bears were an impressive 10-for-11 from the free throw line. Christopher was 5-for-6 from the charity stripe, while Jamal Boykin was 3-for-3 and Jerome Randle was 2-for-2. The percentage of 90.9 for the game was a new season high for Cal.

Jerome Randle notched six assists, leapfrogging him over Ayinde Ubaka for fourth in school history in career assists. Randle now boasts 420. Jason Kidd is third on the all-time chart with 494. Randle also tied Richard Midgley for career three-pointers made tonight. He went 3-for-9 from behind the arc, giving him a career total of 183. Randle ended the night with 15 points. He now has 1,360 career points and remains in 13th on the Bears' all-time scoring list.

Max Zhang tied his career high in blocks with three. Once again earning a start, Zhang totaled six points, including making two shots from outside early in the game.

Tonight's game featured the largest home crowd in history for Pacific with an attendance of 8,704.
