TUCSON, Ariz. -

Allen Crabbe tied his season high with his team-best 17 points against Arizona. Fifteen of those points came in the first half. Crabbe also paced the Bears on the boards with seven rebounds. It was the second time this season he has led Cal in rebounding.

Jorge Gutierrez reached double figures in scoring for the 11th time this season with his 14 points. Gutierrez also logged a season-best four steals. He currently leads the team in that category with 19. He made seven of his nine free throw attempts, and snagged six rebounds.

Cal earned 16 assists to Arizona's 10, led by Brandon Smith and his five assists. Smith, who will replace Gary Franklin in the lineup, logged 30 minutes of playing time.

Harper Kamp and Markhuri Sanders-Frison each scored 12 points. They each turned in big second halfs after Sanders-Frison went scoreless in the first half and Kamp only had two points.

Gutierrez had 13 family members present at the game who drove to Tucson from Chihuahua, Mexico.
