BERKELEY - California and Southern Mississippi have reached agreement to play their postponed football game on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. CST (noon PST) at M.M. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg, Miss., the two schools announced jointly today.
The contest was originally scheduled to be played before a national ESPN television audience on Thursday, Sept. 16, but the game was postponed due to Hurricane Ivan.
While ESPN has expressed interest, plans to televise the rescheduled game are still pending. The game will be aired live on flagship station KGO (810 AM, San Francisco) and the Golden Bear Football Radio Network.
