PHILADELPHIA - Complete Results

The California Golden Bears scored a 193.325 to win the quad meet against Pennsylvania, Southern Connecticut State, and Temple in Philadelphia. Freshman Dallas Crawford earned the Bears top score of the season with a 9.925 on the bars.

The Bears won three of the four events in the meet to earn three W's, defeating Temple (191.200), Penn (191.125), and Southern Connecticut State (188.450).

Freshman Alicia Asturias had the Bears top mark on the vault, a 9.700, good for second place. Sophomore Madisyn O'Brien scored a 9.675, placing her third. The Bears totaled 48.500, the top mark among the four teams.

The Bears also won the bars with a 48.600. Freshman Dallas Crawford earned Cal's top mark of the season in any event when she scored a 9.925 to win the event. It was the highest score earned by a gymnast on the bars since 2004 and the highest score earned on any event by a Cal gymnast since 2007. This was just the eighth time in Cal history that a gymnast earned a 9.925 or higher on the bars.

Sophomore Stina Olivere was second with a 9.875.

The beam was the only event that Cal as a team did not win. However, senior Avery Gee tied for the top individual score with a 9.800, tying her career best. Sophomore Mariesah Pierce had a 9.600.

The Bears won the floor with a 48.950, their top score in any event this season. The Bears had three gymnasts score 9.800's or higher on the event. Avery Gee earned a 9.875, a career-best score. Mariesah Pierce earned a 9.850. Alicia Asturias scored a 9.800, tying a career-best mark.

The Bears will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, March 19 when they compete at the Pac-10 Championships. It will be the team, and individuals, last chance to try to qualify for the NCAA Regionals.
