(BERKELEY) - Two of Cal's Pac-12 football games during the 2011 regular-season campaign will be televised in 3D according to a press release from the television network on Monday. The 3D cameras will be on hand for Cal's home contest against USC at San Francisco's AT&T Park on Thursday, Oct. 13, and on the road at Oregon on Thursday, Oct. 6. Both games begin at 6 p.m. PT.
ESPN 3D will double the amount of college football telecasts this year as the network plans to air 20 regular-season games along with the Allstate BCS National Championship and five postseason bowl contests. The network will kick off its second year of extensive college football coverage with two games in five days over Labor Day weekend when UNLV travels to Wisconsin on Thu., Sept. 1, at 8 p.m. ET with Miami at Maryland on Mon., Sept. 5, at 8 p.m.
The 2011 season marks the return of Miami, Oregon, USC, UCLA, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin to the ESPN 3D schedule and the addition of multiple top programs highlighted by LSU, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, and Texas. It will also be the second straight year the network will air the Dr Pepper ACC Championship game, slated for Sat., Dec. 3, at 8 p.m.
The network will increase its postseason coverage this year with the return of the Allstate BCS National Championship Game on Mon., Jan. 9, at 8:30 p.m. as well as five additional bowl games.

After playing the last 88 seasons and every home game at Memorial Stadium since the facility opened for the 1923 Big Game, Cal will host its home games outside of Berkeley for the first time in 2011 while Memorial Stadium undergoes an extensive renovation and retrofit. Cal football tickets for the team's five-game 2011 regular-season home schedule at San Francisco's AT&T Park are on sale now. Cal will host Pac-12 opponents USC (Thu., Oct. 13), Utah (Sat., Oct. 22), Washington State (Sat., Oct. 5) and Oregon State (Sat., Oct. 12) at the venue after playing Presbyterian in its home opener on Saturday, Sept. 17.
Single-game tickets for the TicketCity Battle by the Bay at San Francisco's Candlestick Park against Fresno State on Saturday, Sept. 3 are also on sale now. The neutral-site season opener for both teams is not part of the Bears' season-ticket package.
