Cal's Taylor Dehn Places Eighth on Three-Meter Board at Pac-10 Championships

FEDERAL WAY, WASH. - California freshman Taylor Dehn tallied a score of 302.30 in the final round to place eighth in the men's three-meter competition, held Thursday at the 2008 Pac-10 Conference Diving Championships, hosted at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Wash.

Dehn, who was a high school All-American at Mission Viejo High School, had scored a 295.40 in Thursday morning's the preliminary round to advance to the finals. Fellow Golden Bear freshman Thomas Henninger was ninth in the prelims with a mark of 289.95, while junior transfer Brian Lawler (Boston University) was 10th with a score of 271.60.

On Friday, Feb. 29, Dehn, Henninger and Lawler will compete in the men's one-meter preliminary at 11 a.m., with the finals starting at 4:15 p.m. On Sunday, Mar. 1, the men's platform preliminary begins at 12:45 p.m., and the platform finals will be held at 3:15 p.m.
