The No. 7 California Golden Bear women's golf team kicks off the spring season on Monday, Feb. 7 at the Wildcat Invitational in Tucson.
The tournament will be held at the Vistoso Golf Course in Tucson. The teams will play two rounds on Monday, Feb. 7 with the third and final round being played on Tuesday, Feb. 8. Both days will have shotgun starts at 8 a.m. local time (7 a.m. Pacific Time).
The field includes Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, Gonzaga, Idaho, Stanford, Oregon State, New Mexico State, New Mexico, San Jose State, Northern Arizona, UC Davis, San Diego State, Hawaii, and Oklahoma State.
The tournament is the first of five spring tourneys the team will play in before the Pac-10 Championships, being held this year at the ASU Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz.
The Bears come into the spring season ranked No. 7 in the Golfweek rankings. The team finished in the top-10 in all of their fall tournaments, including a first place finish at the Edean Ihlanfeldt and a second place at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic.
