WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – The California Golden Bears and the Pac-12 announced today that four Bears earned All-Academic distinction, while nine others were named honorable mentions. Senior pole vaulter Nicole Larson highlighted the group of Bears, as she was named to the first team with a grade-point-average of 3.84. On the men’s side, senior sprinter Dan Davis (3.29), sophomore distance runner and second team All-American Thomas Joyce (3.46) and junior thrower Sullivan Parker (3.33) were named to the conference’s second team.

Nine Golden Bears were also named as All-Academic honorable mentions; sophomore thrower Cody Bickham, senior sprinter Tom Blocker, junior thrower Isaac Dan, senior thrower Scott Esparza, sophomore distance runners Leland Later and Mariel Mendoza, senior hurdler Tiarra Pittman, sophomore pole vaulter Victoria Rische and senior thrower Maggie Simpson.
