Had no organized football experience before walking on to Cal's team in the fall of 2003 ... originally signed with Cal as a water polo player.

2007: For the second straight season appeared in every regular season game ... recorded his first career start against UCLA ... hauled in his first career reception at Stanford and finished the game with three catches for 25 yards, including a personal-long 11-yard reception ... did not play in the bowl game due to injury ... honored as the team's Most Improved Offensive Player.

2006: Played in all 13 games for the Golden Bears, primarily on special teams protection units ... recorded his first career tackle against USC when the Trojans returned a missed field goal.

2005: Saw his only action in the opener against Sacramento State.

2003-04: Redshirted in 2003; did not play in '04.

High School: Earned three gold medals in water polo at the Junior Olympics ... a member of the USA Youth Water Polo team in 2001-02 that traveled to Turkey, Croatia and Italy ... also played basketball and was a member of his high school's track and field team.
