CAL CAREER (Updated Career Stats): Switched to No. 30 during the 2012 season before returning to his current No. 34 that he also wore prior to and starting the 2012 campaign.

2013: Missed portions of spring practice including the team’s spring game due to injury but did spend much of the spring as the team’s top tailback with injuries forcing Brendan Bigelow to miss all of spring and Daniel Lasco to miss contact workouts … listed as the No. 3 running back on the preseason depth chart.

2012 (Game-By-Game Stats):

Played in 11 of 12 games off the bench, primarily on special teams … contributed five tackles, recording a career-high-tying two in back-to-back games at Ohio State and USC as well as one vs. UCLA … named Cal’s Scout Team Player of the Year on offense.

2011: Redshirted … did not play … a mid-year enrollee at Cal for the spring semester that participated in spring football workouts.

LAMAR HS: A versatile player who lined up at quarterback, tailback and wide receiver at different times during his prep career … listed as the nation's No. 82 running back in the 2011 signing class by ESPN, while Scout had him at No. 86 ... a three-star recruit according to ESPN, Scout and Rivals ... earned first-team All-District 5A-20 and Prepstar All-Region honors as a 2010 senior when he rushed for 716 yards to rank second in the 5A Region III District 20 Conference and scored nine touchdowns on 114 carries … led his squad to a 9-2 overall record and a 7-0 mark as a senior to win the All-District 5A-20 title … began his 2009 junior campaign as his team's starting quarterback and also played some wide receiver, contributing 148 yards receiving and two touchdown catches … switched to running back midway through his junior season and posted 730 yards rushing on 141 carries and 10 touchdowns to lead his team to a 10-2 overall record and a 4-1 league mark ... added 148 yards receiving on 15 catches and had a touchdown grab as a junior … also participated in two seasons of both basketball and track and field … named to his school’s honor roll each of his last three prep campaigns … involved in student council and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes … once spent two weeks in Tokyo as an exchange student … graduated from high school in three and a half years.
