Powe has made significant contributions as a part-time starter at wide receiver each of the past two seasons in his first two campaigns with the program, combining for totals of 37 receptions, 365 yards receiving and two touchdown catches. He is geared to do the same in 2014 as he heads into the campaign listed in the No. 2 position on the inside receiver ‘Y’ position on the preseason depth chart.

Freshman (2012)
► Played in 11 games with four starts, including each of the team’s final three contests
► Had 12 catches for 134 yards receiving and one touchdown, with all but two receptions and 44 yards receiving coming over the last three games
► Ranked sixth on the team in both receptions and yards receiving, while he was tied for third with his single touchdown catch
► Recorded team game highs of six catches and 48 yards receiving in the season finale at Oregon State that also marked his career and season highs
► Had three receptions for 32 yards vs. Washington, including an acrobatic diving catch that ranked No. 4 on ESPN’s SportsCenter list of the day’s top plays, and also was credited for minus-four yards rushing without an attempt when he picked up a fumble and tried to advance it
► Had two catches for 44 yards for the first stats of his career in his second contest at Ohio State, including a career-long 36-yard reception that tied for the seventh longest by a Cal player in 2012

► Played in the Under Armour All-America Game following his 2011 All-American (Prepstar) senior season and caught three passes for 37 yards, while earning a mention by Rivals as running the “best routes” in the game and practices leading up to the contest
► Honored by 247Sports as being the third-best receiver during practices prior to the Under Armour All-America Game
► Had 36 receptions for 560 yards and nine TD catches on offense during his senior campaign when he also added an All-Region nod by SuperPrep, while picking up 13 tackles, one interception and eight passes defended on defense
► Had the biggest numbers of his prep career as a 2010 junior when he hauled in 46 catches for 827 yards and six TDs to earn third-team All-State honors from ESPN High School California as well as Moore League Offensive Player of the Year, first-team All-Southern Section and Long Beach Dream Team selections
