Grisom originally joined the club in the spring of 2012 after making the team following a walk-on tryout from Cal’s general student body and had his best season in 2013 when he finished with 10 receptions for 169 yards for a team-high 16.9 yards per catch average and three touchdown catches to rank tied for third on the team in the latter. He was listed as sharing the No. 3 spot at the outside receiver ‘X’ position on the 2014 preseason depth chart as a senior before leaving the program just prior to the start of training camp. Grisom is on track to graduate from Cal in December of 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in religious studies with an emphasis in Buddhism.

► Played in 15 games all of the bench during his two seasons with the program from 2012-13, compiling career totals of 10 receptions for 169 yards and three touchdowns with all of the stats coming during his 2013 junior campaign other than five games played off the bench in his 2012 sophomore season
► Had career highs of two catches on a pair of occasions against Washington State and at Colorado as a 2013 junior, while his 61 yards receiving on a single touchdown catch vs. Ohio State the same season was a career high with the 61-yarder also the longest reception of his career
► Began as a student at Cal in August of 2010 but not a member of the football program until spring of 2012
► Left the program just before the beginning of training camp as a 2014 senior and did not use his final season of collegiate eligibility

Junior (2013)
► Played in 10 games off the bench and recorded 10 receptions for 169 yards for a 16.9 yards per catch average that was the most among regulars as well as three touchdown grabs to rank third on the team
► Ranked fifth on the team with three total touchdowns, and third among non-kickers and fourth overall in scoring with 18 points
► Had career highs of two catches on a pair of occasions against Washington State and at Colorado, picking up 60 yards and one touchdown and 18 yards respectively, while his 61 yards receiving on a single touchdown catch vs. Ohio State was a career high with the 61-yarder the longest reception of his career
► Had touchdown catches in three consecutive contests vs. Ohio State, at Oregon and vs. Washington State
► Registered at least one catch in eight of the games he played in, adding single catches at UCLA (11 yards), at Oregon (7 yards, TD), at Stanford (6 yards), vs. Portland State (5 yards) and vs. USC (1 yard)

► A versatile player who primarily saw action at quarterback on offense but also played some wide receiver and in the defensive backfield
► Was 63-of-130 for 830 yards with eight TDs and one interception through the air as a 2009 senior, while adding 34 carries for 249 yards and five TDs on the ground and two interceptions on defense
► Completed 78-of-144 passes for 1,320 yards and 11 TDs with seven interceptions as a 2008 junior, while adding 26 rushes for 175 yards and two touchdowns on offense, as well as four interceptions and four tackles defensively for a team that finished with a 9-3 overall mark and made the second round of the postseason
