Rigsbee is Cal’s most experienced starter on either side of the ball having started all 24 games possible during his 2012 redshirt freshman and 2013 sophomore seasons. He is expected to move to his third different starting position on the line in 2014 at right tackle after being the team’s starter at left guard as a 2012 redshirt freshman and for the first four contests of his 2013 sophomore campaign before starting at center for the final eight. Rigsbee is one of eight returning offensive linemen in 2014 with starting collegiate experience.
 
Cal Career (2011 – Present)
► Leads all current Cal players with 24 starts as Cal’s only player to have started every game possible over the last two seasons during his 2012 redshirt freshman and 2013 sophomore campaigns
► Expected to move to his third different position on the line in 2014 and start at right tackle after being the team’s starter at left guard as a 2012 redshirt freshman and for the first four contests of his 2013 sophomore campaign before starting at center for the final eight
 
Junior (2014)
► Listed as the starting right tackle on the preseason depth chart after spending spring practices as the team’s starting center
► Fourth-team preseason All-Pac-12 according to Phil Steele
► Suffered an ankle injury late in the spring game but expected to be ready to start the season
 
Sophomore (2013)
► One of only three Cal players to start all 12 games in 2013, starting the first four contests at left guard and the final eight at center after a season-ending injury to Chris Adcock
► A third-team preseason and midseason All-Pac-12 choice at offensive guard according to Phil Steele
► Ranked as the No. 36 draft eligible guard by Phil Steele prior to the season, while Lindy’s had him as a “Cal Player to Watch”
 
Freshman (2012)
► Started all 12 games at left guard alongside his brother and former Cal teammate Tyler Rigsbee, who started all 12 games at left tackle
► Picked up his first two career tackles with one each at Utah and vs. Oregon

► Played four seasons of varsity football, was named first-team Division II All-State as a senior, earned All-Northern Section recognition twice as a junior and senior and picked up All-Eastern Conference honors in each of his final three campaigns as a sophomore, junior and senior
► Also had a huge season on the defensive line as a senior with 113 tackles, 4.0 sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass breakups
► Selected as a NorCal Preps Athlete of the Week during his senior campaign for the week of Nov. 14-20, 2010
► Picked up a share of the Eastern League title during his 2009 junior season
