Hey there, Bear fans!

We just returned to Berkeley from a week in Federal Way, Wash., where we competed at the Pac-12 Championships. It was an incredible weekend filled with tough racing, fast swimming, and lots of cheering.

Your Bears returned home with three individual titles courtesy of junior Farida Osman, a double-winner, and freshman Amy Bilquist. We also brought home one relay title in the 200 freestyle relay that featured Kristen Vredeveld, Osman, Rachel Bootsma, and Bilquist. The podium was graced by a Cal cap much more than that, though. The Bears placed in the top-3 in every relay event that was swum over the four-day period, and there were only four individual events where there wasn't at LEAST one Bear on the podium!

We had SO much fun representing our university at one of the most competitive conference meets in the country, and are now tuning up for the NCAA Championships which start in less than two weeks. We are beyond excited, and hope that you are, too.

Let's keep the ball rolling. GO BEARS!
