Between The Lanes, Episode 7
With the regular season nearing a close, here in Berkeley we've been celebrating our seniors in their last season as Golden Bears. They have given this team a lot in the past four years, and it's only fitting that we honor them with just as much style and spunk they've brought to us every day.
This month, we contested our last two home dual meets against The University of Arizona and Arizona State, and traveled down to Los Angeles to take on USC and UCLA. The team has continued to progress in and out of the pool, managing tough training and a new semester in the classroom. We are excited for what the rest of the season holds, and hope that you are as well!
Rivalry week is quickly approaching, as we are taking on Stanford in our last dual meet of the season in Palo Alto on February 13th. The team is getting in to the spirit, and everyone is excited to race a team that has always challenged us to be our best no matter what time in the season it is.

For the 2015-16 season, a group of five Golden Bears – a regular blog squad – is producing Between the Lanes segments, both video and written, to give fans an inside look at Cal's women's swimming & diving team. The crew is made up of Marina Garcia, Valerie Hull, Catherine Ladd, Katie McLaughlin and Maija Roses (video executive producer).
