  • With today's 35-22 Stanford win, the Cardinal has now won the Big Game each of the last six season. Stanford increased its lead in the all-time series to 61-46-11. The Golden Bears fell to 6-5 overall and 3-5 in the Pac-12 on the season.
  • Cal gained 495 yards in the Big Game (397 pass, 98 rush) and outgained the Cardinal by 139 yards.
  • Stanford's 96 yards passing were the lowest for a Cal opponent this year (previous: 152 yards by Washington).
  • Cal converted 10-of-18 third downs, making the Bears 19-of-31 over the past two games
  • With 386 yards through the air, Jared Goff increased his school record to 11,191 career passing yards. He also increased his school record for career touchdown passes to 85. He completed 37-of-54 passes tonight along with 2 touchdowns. Goff now has 28 250-yard passing performances and 19 300-yard passing performances, both school records. Goff also caught his second career reception, good for 11 yards. His first catch came against USC in 2013. Vic Enwere threw the pass to Goff, the first of his career.
  • Darius Powe caught a three-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter, the eighth of his career and fifth this season. His 7 receptions (74 yards) were a career best.
  • Bryce Treggs has caught a pass in 43 of the last 44 games that he has played in and his last 37 contests in a row. He finished the night with 7 receptions for 102 yards and a TD. Treggs now has 2,216 receiving yards, moving into eighth on Cal's career list.
  • Chad Hansen had a career-high 5 catches for 51 yards, including a 21-yard reception. After posting three catches for 29 yards against Oregon State last week, he has totaled 8 catches for 70 yards in his last two games after having just five catches for 48 yards combined before last week's game.
  • Matt Anderson is now 14-for-17 on the season and had made his last eight attempts. He was 3-for-3 tonight, good on field goal attempts from 28, 25 and 20 yards. This is the second time this season he has made three field goals in a game (Washington).
  • Cal's first scoring drive of the game that ended with a 20-yard field goal by Anderson that was 14 plays in length with tied for the most plays in a Cal scoring drive this season.
