Anderson's touchdown also marked the third time this season that Cal has scored a touchdown on its opening drive, and the second time in its last three games. Matt Anderson's field goal on Cal's second drive marked the first time that Cal has scored on its first two drives in a game this season.

Ray Hudson blocked a punt in the first quarter, and Hamilton Anoa'I blocked a punt in the third quarter. They were Cal's second and third blocked punts of the season (also Matt Rockett, vs. Grambling State).

Vic Enwere garnered his team-best sixth rushing touchdown of the season, on a nine-yard run in the third quarter.

Griffin Piatt notched his first interception of 2015 and fourth of his career. Darius White then registered his third interception of the season in the fourth quarter. The Bears now have 14 interceptions on the year. Cal entered the game tied for first in the nation in turnovers, now with 24.

Hardy Nickerson notched his first sack of the season and second of his career. His first sack came in 2013.

Matt Anderson connected on a 27-yard field goal in the first quarter and a career-long 48-yard field goal in the third quarter. Anderson is now 9-for-12 on the season and has been good on eight of his last nine attempts. His previous career high was 41 yards.

Cal successfully converted its third two-point conversion this season, and it was the second time it came on a Goff run.
