With today's 40-24 Cal loss, the Bears fell to 5-2, 2-2, on the year.

QB Jared Goff increased his school records for career touchdown passes (73) and career passing yards (9,746) against the Bruins. Tonight, Goff completed 32-of-53 passes for 295 yards and 3 touchdowns. He garnered his 22nd career multi-passing touchdown performance. He also recorded his 23rd 250-yard passing performance, a school record. On the season, Goff has completed 182 of his 278 attempts for 2,265 yards and 20 TDs.

Goff attempted a season-high 53 passes, completed a season-high 32 and set a school career record with 1,318 attempts, breaking the mark of 1,301 by Kyle Boller.

Kenny Lawler has caught a pass in every game he's played at Cal (30). He also hauled in his ninth touchdown this season, the 23rd of his career late in the first half. He is tied for fifth on the school's single-season touchdown list and third on the career list.

Todd Barr notched his second sack of the season in the third quarter. He now has 6.5 for his career. Darius Allensworth also boasted a personal-best 4 pass breakups. His previous career high was three.

Griffin Piatt recovered a fumble in the fourth quarter, the 22nd turnover the Bears have forced this season.

Cal did not commit a turnover for the first time since last year's win at Oregon State on Nov. 1, 2014.

Bryce Treggs has caught a pass in 39 of the last 40 games that he has played in and his last 33 contests in a row.

Darius Powe caught his sixth career touchdown pass in the third quarter, also his third this season.

Matt Anderson was good from 26 yards out for Cal's lone field goal of the game. He has made six of his last seven attempts and is 7-for-10 on the year.

Maurice Harris' 42-yard reception in the third quarter was a personal best. His 63 receiving yards were a season high.
