With today's 30-24 loss, Cal fell to 5-1 on the season and 2-1 in the Pac-12.

Jared Goff increased his school record on career touchdown passes (70) and career passing yards (9,451). Tonight, Goff completed 25-of-47 passes for 340 yards and 2 touchdowns. He garnered his 21st career multi-passing touchdown performance. He also recorded his 23rd 250-yard passing performance and his 16th 300-yard performance, both school records. On the season, Goff has completed 150 of his 225 attempts (.667) for 1,970 yards.

Utah picked off five passes, marking the first time an opponent had five since Arizona State did in Tempe in 1998.

Kenny Lawler has caught a pass in every game he's played at Cal (29). Lawler finished the day with a team-high 7 catches for 66 yards.

Trevor Davis caught his seventh career touchdown pass in the first quarter. He hauled in a 50-yard reception in the second quarter, part of his three catches for 92 yards.

Kyle Kragen finished with a career-high 14 tackles. He registered his fifth and sixth tackles for loss this season, one of which was fifth sack of the season. He has compiled all tackles for loss and sacks in the last three games. Hardy Nickerson's 11 tackles tied his career high.

The Bears have recorded at least one interception in every game this season and have 12 on the season following the two interceptions today. Trey Turner picked up his first career interception, while Devante Downs recorded his second. Cal entered the game tied for second in the nation in interceptions. Downs also caused a fumble that was recovered by Caleb Coleman in the third quarter. Between the two interceptions and the fumble, Cal has 21 turnovers this season.

Bryce Treggs has caught a pass in 38 of the last 39 games that he has played in and his last 32 contests in a row.

Stephen Anderson caught six passes for a season-high 99 yards.
