Forrest spent the team’s 2015 spring practices as the No. 2 quarterback on the depth chart behind starter Jared Goff capped by a strong performance in the spring game when he completed 12-of-16 passes for 124 yards (all game highs) and one touchdown. Forrest redshirted as a true freshman in 2014 after leading his prep team into the Southern Section Pac 5 championship game during each of his final two seasons in 2012 and 2013, taking over as the starter late in his junior campaign and spending his entire senior season as the starter.
