Davis registered 27 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss (-24 yards) and 2.0 sacks (-21 yards) as a 2013 sophomore for Long Beach City College after spending the 2011 and 2012 seasons in the Washington State football program. He was a two-time first-team All-Bay League selection as a prep at Palos Verdes High School, adding first-team All-CIF Southern Section Northern Division and Daily Breeze All-Area recognition as a 2010 senior when he had 27 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks (-16 yards), one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one quarterback hurry for a team that finished 10-2 overall and reached the second round of the CIF Southern Section playoffs.
