Nicola Rössler is the first golfer in the history of the program to be accepted into the prestigious Haas School of Business.
As a JUNIOR in 2012-13, played in all 10 tournaments and led the Bears with a 75.0 scoring average…Cal’s top finisher at the Pac-12 Championships and the NCAA West Regional…had her low round of in the final round of the ASU/PING Invitational…had top-25 finishes at the WSU Cougar Invitational (9th), Peg Barnard Invitational (T-24th), Spartan Invite (16th) and the Pac-12 Championships (T-24th)…top three-round score of 220 at the WSU Cougar Invitational…at the Pac-12 Championships, led off with an even par 72 and finished 24th with a score of 72-77-75=224 (+8)…shot a 223 at the NCAA West Regional to place 39th overall…named a WGCA All-American Scholar and Pac-12 All-Academic Team selection.
As a SOPHOMORE in 2011-12, played in all but one tournament during the season, posting a 75.6 scoring average...finished in the top-10, tying for eighth at the Edean Ihlandfelt in Washington...had her first of two below-par rounds of the season at the Mason Rudolph, shooting a one-under 71 in the second round...closed out the Pac-12 Tournament with a one-under 71, helping the team earn the conference championship.
As a FRESHMAN in 2010-11, sunk a hole-in-one on the 16th hole in the third round of the Pac-10 Championships, played at Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz.... played in all but two of Cal's tournaments this season...shot a three-under 69 in her first collegiate round of golf at the Mason Rudolph in Tennessee...shot two par rounds and one under par in the fall season...averaged an even-par 72 in her first tournament (Mason Rudolph)...had three rounds of par and one round under par in the season...posted a 76.16 scoring average, primarily playing as Cal's No. 5 golfer.
High School: Was a member of the German Girls National Team from 2005 to 2008...has been a member of the German Ladies National Team since 2009...was a member of the European squad that won the prestigious PING Junior Solheim Cup in 2007...the Junior Solheim Cup squad was comprised of the top-12 girl golfers from across Europe who faced off against the top-12 girl golfers from the United States...won all three of her matches in the two-day tournament including four-ball and foursome matches and a singles match...competed at the 2008 Girls' British Open Amateur Championship...finished in a tie for seventh at the 2010 Irish Women's Open Strokeplay Championship.
