Wilson broke into the Cal lineup in the spring of 2015 and showed tremendous potential with a pair of top-20 finishes including a tied for 11th-place showing at the prestigious Southern Highland Collegiate Masters against one of the top fields in college golf. Wilson did not play in the fall of 2015 despite playing well in qualifying but not well enough to crack into a lineup that added a pair of true freshmen in Collin Morikawa and Jamie Cheatham who combined to be in the lineup eight times out of 10 possiblities between them.
