Tandy played in three games off the bench without recording any other stats other than participation in his first season at Cal in 2013. He is expected to play a more extended role in the team’s future and heads into the 2014 campaign listed in the No. 2 spot at the middle linebacker position (MIKE) on the preseason depth chart. Tandy is the first member of his family to attend college and also a two-sport athlete who is a member of Cal’s rugby program.
