Johnson saw the first action of his collegiate career by coming off the bench and playing on special teams six times as a 2014 redshirt freshman. He emerged as a potential starter during the team’s 2015 spring practices when he worked out at both the starting left and right tackle spots with starting left tackle Steven Moore sidelined by injury. Johnson is a versatile offensive lineman that has practiced at both guard and tackle positions during his career and has also been a part of the special teams PAT/FG unit.

► Has played in six games off the bench and on special teams as part of the squad’s PAT/FG unit with all of his action coming as a redshirt freshman in 2014 after he redshirted and did not play during his first season with the program in 2013
