Hinnant redshirted his first season at Cal in 2013 while recovering from injuries sustained in a November 2012 car accident but returned to action for 2014 spring practices and is expected to be a part of the team’s plans on the offensive line in the future. He is listed as the No. 3 center on the team’s 2014 preseason depth chart.
