Coleman is known for his speed and looking for playing time in the team’s defensive backfield in 2014 after switching to the position from wide receiver late during his 2013 redshirt freshman season. Coleman is a local product who prepped at St. Mary’s College High School in Berkeley, picking up a Contra Costa Times’ Cream of the Crop selection as a prep senior in 2012.
