Holan is one of the best goal scorers inside the 18 in the collegiate game, whether it's a crossing ball, a ball she has at her feet on the dribble, a penalty kick or a free kick...was an immediate contributor in her first season with the Bears in 1999.

CAL: 1999: Played in 19 games, making eight starts in her first season at Cal after transferring from Portland...tied for second on the team for points (19) and goals (8)...added three assists...her 19 points tied for 15th in the Pac-10...finished the season on a tear, netting goals in five of the final seven games...posted a hat trick in Cal's 3-0 shutout at Arizona...had three game-winning goals - vs. Arizona (3-0), Stanford (2-1 OT) and Washington (3-1).

PORTLAND: 1998: Helped lead the Pilots to a Final Four berth with 21 points (8 goals, 5 assists) in 19 games played (7 starts)...tallied game-winning goals against Oregon, Washington and Colorado College.

1997: Received a medical redshirt due to a stress fracture in her left shin.

1996: Named to Soccer News' All-America Honorable Mention and All-Freshman teams...also named to the All-Freshman team by Soccer America...NCAA All-Tournament team...second on the team in points (22) and goals (10)...tallied the game-winning goal against Washington in the first round of NCAAs...assisted on game-winner vs. Nebraska in the quarterfinals...scored two goals in the Pilots' semifinal match against top-ranked Notre Dame...totaled four of Portland's seven postseason goals in just four NCAA games.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: As a senior at Homestead HS, honors included Parade All-America, Soccer America Super 11 Recruit for Region IV and All-CIF...helped lead Homestead to a CCS championship...ODP veteran...U17 Umbro All-American...was on the Roadrunners club team that won the USYSA National U16 championship in 1994...major is American studies...comes from an athletic family: parents are Jara and Dana Holan, former Czechoslovakian pair skating and ice dancing national champions and bronze medal winners at world championships; sister Martina plays soccer at Colorado College; brother Jan was captain of UC Davis ski team...born Nov. 3, 1977 in Denver, CO.
