CAL CAREER (Career Stats): Has worn his current uniform No. 2 since 2012 after wearing No. 25 for his first season with the program in 2011.

2013: Missed contact during spring practices and the team’s spring game due to injury … listed as the No. 2 player at running back on the preseason depth chart.

2012 (Game-By-Game Stats): 

Played in all 12 games off the bench, seeing action as both a reserve tailback and on special teams earning the team’s J. Scott Duncan Award as its Most Valuable Special Teams Player … recorded a team-high 12 special teams tackles and added a team-high-tying two forced fumbles on special teams as well as four kick returns for 42 yards … also contributed 109 yards rushing and a touchdown on six carries (18.2 ypr) to rank fourth on the team in rushing, with 77 of his yards coming on a touchdown run against Southern Utah that was the team’s second-longest of the campaign behind only Brendan Bigelow’s 81-yard scoring jaunt at Ohio State … added three kick returns for 42 yards to finish with 151 all-purpose yards … finished with two rushes for 74 yards against Southern Utah with his averages of 37.0 yards rushing and total offense per play both second in the Pac-12 for a single game behind Bigelow’s 40.0 marks against Ohio State … rushed three times for 34 yards vs. Oregon and once for a single yard at Oregon State for his other offensive stats of the season … returned three kicks, picking up one return each vs. Nevada (career-long 21-yard return), Oregon (13-yard return) and Southern Utah (eight-yard return) … had a career-high 82 all-purpose yards against Southern Utah (74 rush, eight kick return) … had at least one tackle in nine of 12 games … picked up a career-high-tying two tackles on three occasions vs. Arizona State and UCLA, as well as at Oregon State … had single stops vs. Nevada, Southern Utah, Stanford, Washington and Oregon, as well as at Utah … forced fumbles came vs. Nevada and Washington … rushed six times for eight yards and had one kick return for 27 yards in the spring game.

THE WOODLANDS HS: Listed by five organizations among their top 25 running backs in the country – No. 13 Tom Lemming, No. 17 ESPN, No. 19 Prepstar, No. 24 Scout and No. 25 Rivals ... a Prepstar All-American as a 2010 senior ... ranked as the No. 30 player overall in the state of Texas according to SuperPrep and No. 44 by Rivals ... a four-star recruit according to ESPN and Scout, while garnering three-and-a-half stars from Lemming and three from Rivals ... two-time Region 14-5A District Most Valuable Player as a 2009 junior and 2010 senior, while earning the league’s Offensive Sophomore of the Year honors in 2008 … led his team to three District titles in each of his final three seasons from 2008-10 … finished his four-year varsity career with all-time school records of 3,821 rushing yards and 43 touchdowns on 444 carries for an average of 8.6 yards per rush … posted five career 200-yard rushing games, rushed for 150 or more yards on 10 occasions and 100 or more on 12 … a four-time Player of the Week selection … led his squad to a 10-1 overall record and a 6-0 mark in league action to capture the Region 14-5A District title as a senior when he was named his district's Offensive MVP … rushed for 868 yards and 12 touchdowns on 103 carries in only seven games as a senior due to an injury suffered in the first contest of the season, while adding 202 yards receiving and a score on 13 catches … even threw a five-yard touchdown pass on his only passing attempt as a senior ... posted his biggest statistical totals as a prep during his junior year when he rushed for 1,520 yards and 17 touchdowns on 216 carries, while adding 10 catches for 247 yards and two scores ... rushed for a single-game career-high 264 yards and four touchdowns on a mere 17 carries against nationally ranked powerhouse Katy High School as a junior … rushed for 1,120 yards on 139 rushes as a sophomore for an 8.1 yards per carry average … became his school’s first freshman to ever play varsity football in 2007 when he was called up in Week 10 of his rookie season after rushing for 3,500 yards and 32 touchdowns at the lower levels … contributed 341 yards rushing and four rushing touchdowns in two playoff games as a freshman against teams ranked by the state of Texas, including a memorable 257-yard rushing game with three touchdowns on the ground against highly touted Westfield … reportedly clocked a blazing time of 4.19 in the 40-yard dash as a sophomore and has a personal best of 10.5 in the 100 meters.
