Willis has played both cornerback and wide receiver during his first three seasons at Cal but has spent most of his time on the defensive side of the ball and special teams where he is expected to play in 2014. Willis missed all of spring practice due to injury but is expected to be ready for the 2014 campaign. He made his strongest contributions as a 2013 sophomore when he had 24 tackles, three pass breakups and one forced fumble, and briefly moved into a starting cornerback role for a single start at Washington.
