Morgan spent one-plus season at Cal before leaving the team prior to the beginning of 2013 training camp without seeing any action for the Golden Bears. He enrolled at Cal in January of 2011. Morgan was a member of the 2010 recruiting class who greyshirted in his first campaign.

► Recorded 47 tackles, 2.0 sacks, two interceptions that he returned 27 yards and two pass breakups on defense during his final prep campaign, while also serving as his squad's punter with a 37.25 average on 16 attempts
► Named the Arizona Republic 1-3A Player of the Year for the state of Arizona when he put up huge stats as a junior to lead his squad to a 12-1 record and the top ranking in Arizona 2A football
► Rushed for 1,450 yards and 20 touchdowns on the ground during his junior campaign, was 96-of-135 passing (71.1%) for 1,516 yards and 23 TDs, and recorded 139 tackles, 1.5 sacks, five interceptions that he returned 224 yards and for two touchdowns, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery on defense
► Had three returns for touchdowns on only six attempts as a junior, bringing back a kickoff 90 yards for a score and two punts for TDs
► Also averaged 45.0 yards per punt as a junior to earn All-American honors as a punter and was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2009 2A state title game
► Posted solid numbers as a 2008 sophomore with 384 rushing yards and five scores on 81 carries, was 56-of-122 passing for 810 yards and 12 TDs, and on defense posted 100 tackles, seven interceptions that he returned 82 yards and two fumble recoveries, while averaging 38.4 yards per punt
