Personal:

Chose Cal because she has been rooting for Cal softball since she was a kid and for its strong academics, top engineering program and school energy...Mother, Barbara Lee, attended Purdue University and father, Jason Lee, attended Cal...Has a wing span of six feet...Played all nine positions at some point between high school and travel ball

Major:

Mechanical Engineering -- would like to pursue a career in a technical field doing something she enjoys

Destined to be a Bear:

Mary's Cal roots run deeper than any of her classmates', for she has been a Golden Bear fan for years. Lee attended her first Cal football game at age three and her first softball game - one against Stanford - at age 10, so selecting Berkeley was an easy choice for the San Diego native. Her father, Jason, attended Cal.

Why I have my number:

When No. 22 was offered to me, I was excited to have it. I was No. 2 in high school, so what could be better than two No. 2's?!

Pre-game Rituals and Game Superstitions:

I always braid my hair the same way and make sure not to step on the base lines.
