INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS

  • Placed 13th in the 50-meter backstroke at the 2013 World Championships with a time of 28.33, which set a Hong Kong record
  • Represented Hong Kong at the 2013 World University Games, placing 7th in the 50-meter back in 28.83 and 8th in the 100-meter back in 1:02.22
  • Won a silver medal in the 50-meter back and bronze medals in the 100 back, 200 free relay, 400 free, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay at the 2013 Asian Indoor Games
  • Also holds Hong Kong long-course records in the 200-meter freee (2:00.85 set in Beijing 2008), 400-meter free (4:13.81) and 800-meter free (8:41.66 set in Beijing 2008)
  • Along with former Bears Hannah Wilson and Sherry Tsai (and Hang Yu Sze), set her nation's 400-meter free relay record (4:03.07) at the 2009 East Asian Games

CALIFORNIA SUCCESS

  • Entered the 2013-14 season ranked among Cal’s top-10 performers in the 100-yard back (7th, 51.88) and 200-yard back (7th, 1:53.33)
  • Placed 12th in the 100-yard back at the 2013 NCAA Championships with a time of 51.88
  • At the 2013 Pac-12 Championships, took fourth in the 100 back (51.92) and seventh in the 200 back (1:55.13)
  • Earned honorable mention All-America status when she placed 13th at 2012 NCAA Championship in the 100-yard back with a time of 52.83. Also finished 19th in the 200 back in 1:54.96
  • At the 2012 Pac-12 Championships, placed 7th in the 100 back (52.80) and 11th in the 200 back (1:56.24)
  • In 2011, finished ninth in the 200 back (1:53.33) at the NCAA Championships
  • Took second in the 200 back at the 2011 Pac-10 Championships with a time of 1:54.96

OLYMPICS

  • Swam in the heats of the 100- and 200-meter backstroke at the 2012 Games in London
  • Made her first Olympics appearance in 2008 in Beijing, where she competed in the 200-, 400- and 800-meter free
