2014 (International): Won a Gold medal serving as the coxswain of the United States women’s eight at the Women’s World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Varese, Italy.

2014 (Junior): Was an honorable mention selection on the Pac-12 All-Academic squad for the second-straight year... rowed in six races for the Bears, primarily as the coxswain for the varsity eight... coxswain for the V8 at the NCAA championships that finished third overall... coxed the V8 at the Pac-12 Championships that finished third overall.

2013 (Sophomore): Was an honorable mention selection on the Pac-12 All-Academic squad … competed in four events for the Bears as a sophomore ... coxed the varsity eight that took third at the Pac-12 Championships and beat Stanford ... coxed the varsity eight vs. Clemson and the second varsity eight vs. Oklahoma in Cal's opening weekend. 

2012 (Freshman): Coxed the junior varsity eight that took third at the NCAA Championships, won the Pac-12 Championship and beat Stanford and Washington.

Personal: Qualified the varsity 8+ for the Southwest Regional Championships in the club's first year of existence with the Upper Natoma Rowing Club ... sister, Larissa, rowed at Loyola Marymount ... parents are Lewis and Kathleen Meltz ... has three sisters ... undeclared major, but plans on being an elementary school teacher.


The best part about being on Cal crew is: Everyone on the team pushes each other to be the best that they can be. you are always challenged as well as encouraged.


I chose Cal because: I wanted to go to a school where I would be challenged academically and athletically. Cal is the perfect combination.
