Anderson entered Cal as a mid-year enrollee and one of the top placekickers in his recruiting class in January of 2013. He redshirted his true freshman campaign at Cal in 2013 while fifth-year senior Vincenzo D’Amato handled the placekicking duties but is expected to be in the mix along with Noah Beito and James Langford for the starting job in 2014. Anderson had a strong spring game, making all four of his kicks by converting on three field goals and one extra point.

► Other honors as a senior included All-West Region (PrepStar), first-team All-Metro (San Francisco Chronicle), first-team All-East Bay Athletic League, Cream of the Crop No. 5 ranking (Contra Costa Times), Outstanding Special Teams Award and Preseason Top Five West Specialist (Scout)
► Posted a career total of 125 points on 15 field goals and 80 extra points
► Also had 38 touchbacks among his 44 career kickoffs for 3,143 kickoff yards
► Scored 53 points on eight field goals and 29 extra points as a senior when he also made a career-long 50-yard field goal and accumulated all of his kickoff stats
► Scored 72 points on seven field goals and 51 extra points with a season-long field goal of 45 yards as a 2011 junior, ranking eighth in the EBAL and ninth in the North Coast Section in scoring
► Senior squad was Co-EBAL champs with a 5-1 league mark, while junior team was a North Coast Section finalist and posted a 10-4 overall record … invited to the prestigious Chris Sailer “Top 12” camp based on his performance at the 2012 National Kicking Camp
► Named the kicking champion for winning the last man standing competition on a 62-yard field goal and also captured the head-to-head brackets competition
► Also an All-American and first-team All-EBAL selection in swimming, as well as a Division I soccer player
► Member and officer in three campus clubs (California Scholarship Federation, Interact, National Honor Society)
► A four-year North Coast Section Scholar-Athlete who graduated from high school in three and a half years with highest honors
