Shaw got his first taste of collegiate action during the fall of 2013 in the team’s season opener and has also played once as an individual in the spring coming off a true freshman campaign in 2012-13 in which he redshirted but was still named the team’s Co-Most Improved Player along with Shotaro Ban.
