Spring 2015: Collected a 26-12 record playing mainly at No.3 singles… in doubles play was mostly paired with Chase Melton—the team accumulated a 12-14 record and held a No. 51 ITA ranking in the second to last ITA singles poll of the year…the pair started off the dual-match season strong, winning its first four dual-meet matches, including beating then-No. 26 Denis Nguyen and Brian Yeung of Harvard, 6-3, in Cal’s ITA Kickoff Weekend opener in Berkeley, before bagging their first loss... in singles, Bayane won his first 11 matches before suffering his first loss and finished the season strong, winning the last match of his college career against No. 54 Andrew Berkowicz, 7-5, 6-3, on court three as Cal lost at No. 9 Texas in the NCAA round of 32, 4-1...completed his career with all-time records of 84-46 (singles) and 66-50 (doubles).
Fall 2014: Started off his fall season strong, winning the sixth annual Battle of the Bay Classic consolation singles title, with a 1-6, 6-4, 1-0(7) victory over UCLA's Austin Rapp…fell in the round of 32 in the 2014 USTA/ITA Division I Men's Northwest Regional Singles Championship… paired with Chase Melton, fell in the doubles quarterfinal round of the 2014 USTA/ITA Division I Men's Northwest Regional Championships to San Francisco’s Bernardo Saraiva and Nils Skajaa, 8-7(5).
Spring 2014: Compiled an 18-11 record mainly playing at No. 5 singles…in doubles – mostly paired with Chase Melton – posted a 20-14 mark…the team of Bayane and Melton, which had a 20-8 record, ended the year in the NCAA doubles quarterfinals (playing in that tournament for the first time), with a No. 19 ITA ranking and with ITA All-America honors…Bayane/Melton upset the seventh-ranked Alabama pair of Becker O’Shaughnessey/Daniil Proskura, 7-6(5), 6-4, in the NCAA doubles round of 32, and beat N.C. State’s 29th-ranked team of Ian Dempster/Robbie Mudge, 5-7, 6-2, 7-6(5), in the round of 16…claimed a spot on the Pac-12 All-Academic first team…Bayane and Melton won their first 11 dual-meet matches before suffering their first loss.
Fall 2013: Posted a 4-6 singles record and 5-7 doubles mark…in their first fall tournament, doubles partners Bayane and Melton won five matches to capture the USTA/ITA Northwest Regional Championship, topping Washington’s eighth-seeded Emmett Egger and Jeff Hawke, 8-5, in the final to book a spot at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships…at national indoors, the Bears lost in the doubles round of 16 to Illinois’ fourth-seeded and 10th-ranked team of Ross Guignon and Tim Kopinski, 8-5.
Spring 2013: The Meaux, France, product compiled a 28-12 singles record and a 21-15 doubles record last season. Bayane earned a Pac-12 Player of the Week honor – in part for his play in Cal’s upset of No. 4 Duke – and won singles titles at the UCSB Classic and Aggie Invitational. He also earned a spot on the Pac-12 All-Academic first team.
Fall 2012: Won singles titles at the UC Davis Aggie Invitational and UCSB Classic...posted a 13-4 singles record...at one point won 11 straight singles matches spanning four tournaments...posted a 7-6 doubles record...reached the doubles quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA Northwest Regional Championship and the semifinals of the UC Davis Aggie Invitational with partner Andrew Scholnick...also reached the doubles quarterfinals of the UCSB Classic with Wyatt Houghton.
Spring 2012: Completed his first season with a 12-11 singles record...claimed four consecutive Pac-12 dual match victories in the month of March and April...partnered with Andrew Scholnick to reach an 8-4 doubles record...claimed five consecutive Pac-12 doubles victory...advanced to the round of 16 in the NCAA Championship tournament.
