LOS ANGELES - California freshman Sara-Lina Boushakra reached the final of the three-meter springboard at the Bruin Diving Invitational on Friday, posting a final score of 486.95 to take 17th place on the first day of the meet at UCLA's Spieker Aquatics Center.
Boushakra was the only Golden Bear to reach the final. She notched a score of 251.15 in the preliminary round, with junior teammate Kahley Rowell posting a score of 229.40 to take 26th place and freshman teammate Anne Kastler tallying a score of 221.85 to finish 30th in the prelim.
The three-day meet continues with the one-meter springboard starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday and ends with the platform competition on Sunday.
