Cal Finishes Round 2 at Liz Murphey Invitational

ATHENS, Ga. - The University of California Golden Bear women's golf team finished day two of the Liz Murphey Fall Preview by bettering their first round score by six strokes, and sit in 18th place with a total score of 606. Senior Jacqueline Williams led the Bears on day two with a score of 73 (+1).

Williams now has a two day total of 149 (76, 73). Just like day one, sophomore Morgan Thompson and senior Joi Pentin posted the same score and now both sit with 151 (77, 74) strokes. while freshman Hannah Suh contributed a 79 to bring her total to 157. Junior Nicola Roessler's score of 80 did not factor into the day's tabulation, and gave her a two day score of 156.

The Bears tee off for the third and final round tomorrow at the par-72 University of Georgia Golf Course at 6:40 a.m. Live scoring for tomorrow and complete results from today's action can be found at
