Spring 2014: Posted a 33-7 singles record and a final ITA ranking of No. 61 after a strong first year as a Golden Bear…led the Bears with seven match-clinching victories…clinched Cal’s last team victory of the season, beating Pepperdine’s Apichaya Runglerdkriangkrai, 7-5, 6-2, playing on court six in the NCAA’s round of 32 in Berkeley…Manasse clinched Cal’s regular-season win at Stanford that clinched the Bears’ first Pac-12 championship, beating No. 39 Caroline Doyle, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2…won 10 of her last 12 singles matches… partnered with Denise Starr to win Cal’s last doubles match of the season, an 8-3 victory over No. 50 Taylor Davidson/Ellen Tsay in the Bears’ NCAA round of 16 loss to Stanford in Atlanta…overall Manasse compiled a 24-7 doubles record, including a 12-1 record with Starr…Manasse and Starr earned a final ITA doubles ranking of 33rd, while Manasse and Anett Schutting (10-5) claimed a final ITA doubles ranking of 55th.

Fall 2013: Came on strong late in the fall in singles, first reaching the round of 16 in the USTA/ITA Northwest Regional Championships and then advancing to the final of the ASU Thunderbird Invitational, falling to teammate Denise Starr, 6-1, 6-2…her run to the final in Tempe, Ariz., including an upset of 23rd-ranked teammate Klara Fabikova in the semifinals, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4…she compiled a singles record of 7-2 in her first semester as a Golden Bear…posted a 5-1 doubles record that – with Fabikova as her partner – included a run to the regional’s quarterfinals.

Personal/Previous: Maegan Manasse is the younger sister of Cal alumna Stephanie Manasse, who played for the Bears in 2005. Another sister - Rachel Manasse - played at Long Beach State.

The Tennis Recruiting Network regarded Maegan Manasse as a five-star recruit, ranking her at No. 13 in its national college recruiting list and as the second-best recruit from the state of California.

In July of 2013, Manasse won the Manhattan Beach Open, bageling her opponent, former UCLA Bruin Helen Tu, 6-0, 6-0, in the final. In November of 2012, Manasse won the doubles title at the USTA National Open, Girls 18, in Irvine, Calif., where she also reached the round of 16 in singles. One of her best sports moments was when she paired with North Carolina's Ashley Dai to win the doubles crown at the 2012 USTA National Clay Court Championships in Memphis, Tenn.

In 2011, Manasse won the CIF Southern Section Singles Championship, overcoming Arizona State's Desirae Krawczyk in the final. The win over Krawczyk gave Manasse a 32-0 singles record for Mira Costa High School, which also named her its Female Athlete of the Year in 2011. Manasse amassed a 68-1 singles record in 2010.
